MONTGOMERY, AL – With the approval of the ARA board of directors, Alabama Retail PAC, the political action committee of the Alabama Retail Association, has endorsed candidates for four statewide offices and 29 legislative seats in the June 1 primaries. RetailPAC has endorsed both Democrats and Republicans who face opposition in their respective primaries.

“The Alabama Retail Association board of directors believes these candidates understand the issues retailers face at their businesses every day and that, if elected, these individuals will give the interests of retailers a fair hearing in the halls of government and justice,” said ARA President Rick Brown. The Retail Association closely evaluates each candidate’s record and discusses the ramifications of each race before granting its endorsement. “We are confident these candidates are the best choices for these positions,” Brown said.
